Meet Me: Kim Baldwin
Hi, I’m Kim Baldwin, Founder of Tax Fairies. My career began with HMRC, where I gained an in-depth understanding of the tax system from the inside out. After qualifying, I took the plunge and started my own consultancy—all while raising three children!
Over the years, life led me in exciting new directions. I expanded my expertise by running a finance consultancy alongside a clothing business, sourcing fashion from across the UK and Europe. I even organised fashion shows and events for schools, organisations, and private clients—a journey that combined creativity with business savvy.
I’ve always had a passion for learning, which inspired me to pursue a BSc in Psychology (2:1), counselling qualifications, and a master’s in Forensic Psychology—all while being a busy mum of three. It wasn’t always easy, but I’ve never been one to shy away from a challenge.
Positivity is my guiding principle. My wonderful grandma taught me that "there’s no such word as can’t," and that mantra has carried me through life’s ups and downs.
